MFPE represents many of the private sector employees who provide mental health services in public schools. I saw firsthand the importance of their work when my most at-risk students turned to their CSCT therapists to help them stay in school when they felt like running out on a daily basis.
If there were ever a time to ensure Montana students have access to mental healthcare, now is the time. There is no excuse for politicians who dither around with this funding. You might want to call them and tell them to “figure it out. Period.”
