As COVID-19 spreads across the country and our state, Montanans are stepping up to battle the virus, including MFPE member Duff Gray. “Tinkerers” in Billings have designed reusable face masks for the battle against coronavirus and Gray, a career and technical education (CTE) educator at West High is overseeing the production of the masks for, which will be used by local area healthcare workers. He’s doing this in addition to teaching full-time.
According to Billings Education Association President Rachel Schillreff, the majority of 3-D printers in the district are currently being used for the production of the reusable face masks and the machines are being manned by MFPE members.
Duff Gray also serves as a building rep for his union and sits on the negotiations team.
Thank you to all MFPE members. You continue to do the Work that Matters.
